The stable basis of the company group is Bro-Ker-Bét Ltd. The Hungarian family business, which dates back more than 25 years, provides the backbone for the integration of the poultry sector in the middle of the country, by breeding meat hybrid parents and producing hatching eggs.
Pre-rearing of parents and production of breeding herds takes place in 3 farms in Újhartyán, with a total area of ​​28,000 square meters, while in Szigetcsép with 8 stables of 8,000 square meters, thus ensuring the annual production of more than 28 million eggs. The owner-managers of the company are committed to the poultry sector: since its establishment on September 15, 1989, competitive farming has been established through continuous renewal and development, and the accumulation and updating of professional experience. The founders have been working with the second generation for almost a decade, ensuring the transfer of professional experience as well as ownership and managerial values ​​for the long-term operation and development of the company group. In order to maximize production and keep its standards as high as possible, technological renovations have recently been introduced at all of the company’s farms to provide the best environmental conditions for birds.
In addition to technological development, our company places great emphasis on animal health and quality assurance. It is surrounded by all the company’s settlements and is located away from and isolated from the inhabited settlements. Biosecurity is constantly monitored and production is under regular veterinary control. During 2014, the company was awarded the first-class poultry breeding certificate of the German quality assurance organization QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH, which certifies the production of the products of the Ltd. at a high level. Our Company has consistently complied with the QS quality assurance audits since its entry into the system in 2014, and the certificate was renewed in 2016 and 2018 accordingly. With a strong emphasis on animal health and a high quality in mind, the in ovo, ie the introduction of vaccination into eggs, was part of the modernization of the Hernád hatchery. In addition, it can be said that the hatchery is managed by an agricultural graduate with experience in foreign poultry farming, who is the managing director of the company. The hatcheries branded by the Dutch Pas Reform BV enable the breeding of 28 million day-old chicks per year at Herbro Kft.’s hatchery in Hernád, which is delivered by Bro-Ker-Bét Kft.’s own trucks with a special day-transport structure. to your satisfaction.
At the end of 2015, the company group expanded with a new member: Bro-Bio-Tojás Kft. Submitted its application for the Rural Development Program in 2016 in order to establish a modern site in Hernád. As a result of the investment, the hatching of Bro-Ker-Bét Kft .’s own chick will be ensured entirely from its own eggs. Following the successful application, Bro-Bio-Tojás Kft. Carried out a public procurement procedure in possession of the sponsorship certificate, on the basis of which construction contract on February 4, 2019. According to the plans, the project was implemented within the set 13-month deadline, so a farm for raising and producing domestic fowl was established in Hernád with the development of Bro-Bio-Tojás Kft. For more than HUF 2.3 billion. The 13,500-square-meter barn provides poultry farming with state-of-the-art Big Dutchman housing technology, designed to ensure a high level of veterinary safety and process automation through a corridor connecting the barns. As a result of the investment, the Hernád poultry sector, which dates back several decades, has been expanded with a brand new and state-of-the-art farm, which, while creating new jobs, stably ensures high levels of production through automated processes.
